Krasnoyarsk State Philharmonic was opened on the first of October, 1953, under the auspices of the Regional Concert Bureau. The Bureau actually began its activity after the Great Patriotic War, with the first Philharmonic Society of Krasnoyarsk founded back in 1928, though the tradition of regular music concerts had been established in the late 19th century, when the first organized music circles were created.
Krasnoyarsk Regional Philharmonic is a large creative cluster including four concert halls and fourteen professional artistic ensembles of various genres.

The majority of music programmes take place at the Big, Small and Chamber Halls of the Philharmonic Complex located in the very heart of Krasnoyarsk, where the old fortress was founded. Themed concert series are held at the Organ Hall in the other part of the City. This building example of the early 20th century architecture.
Krasnoyarsk Philharmonic is the largest Russian concert organization beyond the Urals. We serve for over 300 thousand spectators every year.

The stage of the Philharmonic has hosted the musicians acknowledged as the national pride of Russia: Mikhail Pletnev, Valery Gergiev, Vladimir Spivakov, Pavel Kogan. Representatives of the younger performers' generation, such as Dmitry Masleev, Yuri Favorin, Sergei Redkin, Haik Kazazyan, Pavel Milyukov and etc., who also performs here.

Many international projects abroad are regularly organized by Philharmonic to present Siberian performing school. Krasnoyarsk Academic Symphonic Orchestra is a music ambassador of the region, and Krasnoyarsk State Academic Dance Ensemble of Siberia introduces the world to a unique choreographic heritage of Mikhail Godenko.

Virtual Concert Hall offers the possibility to broadcast the orchestra performances all around the region.

Today the Philharmonic society also encompasses other popular and original groups of various genres.

The folk genre is represented by KrasA Krasnoyarsk State Song Ensemble, Volnitsa Folk Instruments Ensemble; jazz dance is represented by Jazz Ballet of Valery Tereshkin, Mainstream Band and Veronica Makhotina, Jam Quartet conducted by Igor Ustinov. 77 band (soloists Elena Sysoeva and Nikolai Levashov) specialize in pop music. Within the Philharmonic Society, there is a young and daring Siberian Percussion group, as well as a multiple laureate of prestigious international and Russia competitions, a prize-winner of the Choir Games, Capriccio Boys and Young Men's Choir. Children's musical theatres Raduga and Brigantina, the Literature Theatre run educational, children's and family programmes. The organ music genre is covered by the laureate and special prize winner of International competitions, philharmonic resident Andrei Bardin.

Krasnoyarsk Academic Symphony Orchestra
Founded in 1977. Starting from 1978 and for the next 25 years, the Orchestra had been conducted by the People's Artist of Russia, Ivan Vsevolodovich Shpiller (1935-2003). In the shortest time, the orchestra became known as one of the best in the country. Since 2004 till 2014, the Orchestra was conducted by Mark Kadin.

In 2009, the Orchestra was acknowledged as a cultural heritage of the Krasnoyarsk region.

In 2015, the artistic leadership of the Orchestra was taken by Vladimir Lande, disciple of the outstanding conductor Gustav Meier. At the same time, Maestro is the music director and conductor of the "Washington Soloists" chamber orchestra, and a guest conductor of the National Gallery Orchestra (Washington), the principal conductor and art director of COSMIC Symphony Orchestra.

Krasnoyarsk Academic Symphony Orchestra is listed among the leading orchestras of Russia. During the last years the orchestra has performed almost all significant pieces of the world symphonic repertoire, being, at the same time, always open to new music and any cross-genre experiments. The orchestra enjoys the cooperation of the leading musicians of the planet.

At the moment, the orchestra staff includes over one hundred full-time musicians.

In 2017, the orchestra celebrated its 40th anniversary. In the last several years, the orchestra has been actively touring in Russia. The musicians have performed in Moscow, Saint Petersburg, Veliky Novgorod, Pskov. In November 2018, supported by All-Russian Philharmonic Seasons programme which is organized by the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, the Orchestra also performed in the Extreme North, in Norilsk and Dudinka.

Krasnoyarsk Academic Symphonic Orchestra has performed on the stage with such outstanding musicians as Dmitry Yurovsky, Leonard Slatkin, Rudolf Buchbinder, Vladislav Chernushenko, Victor Tretyakov, Dmitri Hvorostovsky, Denis Matsuev, Nikolai Lugansky, Vadim Repin, Alexander Kniazev and many others.
Krasnoyarsk State Academic Dance Ensemble of Siberia named after M.S. Godenko
Founded in 1960, the Ensemble became universally known due to the outstanding choreographer and ballet master, People's Artist of the USSR Mikhail Semenovich Godenko (worked in 1963-1991). He created the unique style of the ensemble: over one hundred and fifty choreographic performances that make up the golden repertoire of the ensemble, loved by many generations of spectators.

In 2009, the dance company became listed as especially valuable item of the cultural heritage of the Krasnoyarsk Territory.

The Ensemble has been and still is actively touring around the world. The dancers have performed in Australia, Belgium, Bulgaria, Germany, Greece, Guatemala, Denmark, India, China, Norway, Poland, the USA, Switzerland, Sweden, France, Japan and many other countries.

The repertoire of the Ensemble is still based on the golden fund formed by M.S. Godenko. The audience adores such dances as "On the bridge", "In the poultry yard", "Krasny Yar" Cossackdance, "Siberian fun", "Along the street", "By the well" circle dance and many others. In the past several years, the current choreographers have expanded the ensemble repertoire with such performances as "In the evening", "Village gate" circle dance", "Nazarovo harvesting", "The Kacha gray beards", "The chimes", "Siberian lads", "Tale of Siberia".

On the first of May 2019 all fans of M.S. Godenko will celebrate his 100th birthday. The dancers will present to the audience a concert programme consisting of the jewels of their repertoire and several new performances.

The Orchestra is a laureate of the All-Russian and International Competitions. Founded in 1993, it is one of the largest, high professional folk orchestras in Russia.

From 1995 to 2010, the art director and the principal conductor of the orchestra was Anatoly Yurievich Bardin, a People's Artist, Academician of the Petrovskaya Academy of Sciences and Arts of Russia, an experienced musician and an astute interpreter.

Today, the orchestra is conducted by the laureate of the All-Russian Competition Valery Shelepov.

The Orchestra repertoire includes pieces by composers from various countries and ages. The band presents itself as "the most daring": it manages playing both classical programmes with the most famous musicians of the country and running some experimental projects. For example, it has launched such extreme programmes for a Russian Orchestra as the "Golden Pop Hits" (in cooperation with Retro FM radio station"), "Scary Bedtime Stories for Adults", "Musical Territory" and others. The Orchestra concerts have included some classical music in rock arrangement and a programme dedicated to Vladimir Vysotsky.

In a quarter of a century, the musicians gave over 1000 concerts in Krasnoyarsk and around the Territory; in Moscow, Saint Petersburg, Chita, Bratsk, and other cities of Russia. The programmes are visited by hundreds of thousands listeners of various ages and social statuses.
The Big Concert Hall was initially designed for the performances of Krasnoyarsk Dance Ensemble of Siberia.

The hall is designed for 1412 seats. The stage is suitable for large-scale shows. The technical capacities of the hall allow performing the musical pieces involving both symphonic and folk orchestras, as well as soloists, choirs, dancing groups and a video backdrop. This the venue where the guest performances of the leading groups of from all over Russia take place.

The Small Concert Hall was designed for the world-class orchestra, Krasnoyarsk Symphony Orchestra conducted by Ivan Vsevolodovich Shpiller.

There are four grand pianos: two Austrian Bösendorfer and two American Steinway grand pianos, as well as Johannus Monarke digital organ. This exclusive model was customized for the dimensions, acoustic capacities and constructive features of the Small Hall stage.

The splendour and swing of the atrium create a special charm, nobility and glamour, inviting the guests into the atmosphere of beauty and harmony.

The space of the Ceremonial Hall can be transformed for any event format. It is suitable for receptions, balls, presentations, exhibitions, concert and dancing parties, business conferences and cocktail dinners. It can be used for large Christmas celebrations for children with fancy installations, scenery and an incredibly tall Christmas tree.

Noble and graceful building of the former Catholic church.

The building imitates Gothic style and was constructed in 1911 by architect Vladimir Sokolovsky. Today it is acknowledged as architecture memorial.
